Property & Commercial Law Paralegal

The Firm:
An established award-winning Gold Coast law firm offering a strong client base and pipeline of work is seeking an experienced career paralegal to join their Property and Commercial team. Led by highly regarded practitioners, learn from the best, be mentored and grow professionally. 

The Role: 
Ideally suited to a Paralegal / Secretary with at least 2-3 years legal industry experience - Property Law, Conveyancing and Commercial law experience highly regarded! 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and amending legal documents and correspondence; 
• Preparing documents for Court; 
• Client communication; 
• Liaising with authorities, practitioners and other clients; 
• File management; 
• Time recording; and 
• Completion of billing at end of month. 

You will have experience in:

• Previous experience in Paralegal duties and administration duties and preferably experience in Property law.
• Be well presented and possess an excellent phone manner; 
• The ability to interact and build relationships with staff and clients; 
• The ability to multi-task and to work independently; 
• Have meticulous attention to detail; 
• Can prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines; 
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office; 
• Experience with LEAP Legal Software would be highly advantageous (but not essential); 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
