Job description

“I started my C&K career in 2018. Since then, I’ve managed the hiring for several new centres, innovated new ways to approach recruitment challenges, established myself as a recruitment expert, and have taken on a Team Lead role. I have had a phenomenal experience at C&K, and I’ve been acknowledged for the skills and passion I bring with me.”

- Mallika Joshi – Talent Acquisition Team Leader

For Children. For You. For Always.

Are you ready to do something that truly matters?

At C&K, our purpose is to make a positive impact on children’s lives. It’s what we’ve been doing for more than 115 years. Through evidence-based thinking, hard work and true compassion, we’ve built a trusted reputation as Queensland’s leading provider of early childhood education.

But times are changing, and so are we. And although we’re passionate believers that children come first, we know our people must come first, too.

Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always.

Help shape the future of children in our care

As our highly valued Property Coordinator based at our Kedron office, you’ll be vital to ensuring our centres are well maintained and in excellent condition.
You’ll enjoy working from home two days per week, a monthly ADO (Accrued Day Off), and flexible start and finish times, creating a work environment that empowers you to achieve a fulfilling work-life balance.

You’ll help us shape the future of children in our care by:

  • Liaising with landlords and managing the C&K vehicle fleet.
  • Managing a C&K property portfolio to ensure all leases are up to date.
  • Processing maintenance request and insurance claims.

What you’ll bring
You’ll be an experienced professional, or you might be a fresh face to the industry who is willing to learn and grow with a purpose-led organisation. No matter your experience level, you’ll bring your passion for delivering amazing talent outcomes and continually strive to make our teams the best they can be.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (within three months or willing to obtain these - we will cover the cost of both)
  • Operational experience, preferably working within the areas of property or facilities.
  • Knowledge of legislative policies and procedures as it relates to building codes or an ability to acquire this knowledge where necessary.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with maintenance software is desirable
  • Ability to travel.
  • Work in collaboration with and assist the team, manager, and other key stakeholders to achieve business unit goals.

Why C&K?

Every C&K career helps children belong and grow. We want the same for you.

Here are some things we hope you’ll love about working with us:

For Children.

Joining C&K means impacting a child’s life journey for the time they spend with us and long after they leave. By supporting us to nurture a love of learning in our play-based environments, you’re doing something that truly matters – for now and for life.

For You.

So much of what we do depends on you. We’ll set you up for success with a range of benefits, programs and opportunities to help you earn, be well and grow. And you’ll team up with people who value your dedication and care.

For Always.

At C&K, you’ll help shape the future of the children in our care - and there’s so much more we can do. We’re investing and working hard to find better ways to support you and set a new standard for our sector.

You’ll also enjoy plenty of other benefits:

  • Enjoy a better work-life balance with the option to work from home two days a week, plus one allocated day off each month and flexible start and finish times.
  • Attractive salary of $81,000 - $90,000 + Super per annum.
  • Expand your skills and knowledge with training opportunities, ongoing support and experienced mentors who help you achieve.
  • Live, work and be well with our Employee Assistance Program for you and your family, plus health insurance discounts through Bupa.
  • Prioritise what matters most with parental leave, return-to-work support, and family-friendly priority access to C&K childcare centres.
  • Be rewarded for supporting the growth of our teams with a $1000 referral bonus for referring a successful candidate to any C&K vacancy.

Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always.

The children, families and communities we support are wonderfully diverse. C&K benefits greatly from a team that brings together many different perspectives and experiences, and we’re proud of our inclusive culture. We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and people from all backgrounds.

All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks, including a police check.
