Our client, is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Property Manager to join their property team. This role plays a crucial part in optimising and managing the property portfolio, ensuring it aligns with corporate strategies and enhances customer satisfaction.
Your primary purpose is to support the management of the current and future property portfolio. You will engage with customers, licensees, and lessees, providing high-level customer service in alignment with the company’s vision and values. Your role will involve managing and coordinating property systems and support services, negotiation, preparation, and management of licenses, leases, and contractual agreements within Property.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the Senior Property Manager in optimising and managing the property portfolio, enhancing its value, performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Engage with customers, license, and lease holders to ensure high-level engagement and communication of the company’s interests.
- Assist with negotiations of future leases and licenses within the property portfolio.
- Prepare, review, and monitor property budgets and financial reports.
- Ensure tenants comply with lease commercial conditions, including rent payments and insurance.
- Liaise with Finance to ensure correct costing of licenses and leases for financial management.
- Manage the payment process for rates, taxes, and outgoings.
- Coordinate day-to-day tasks required to manage the property portfolio efficiently.
- Promote a safe working environment in line with Work Health and Safety values.
You will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including Property team members, customers, lessees, licensees, contractors, consultants, and other teams.
Key Knowledge and Experience:
- High-level customer relationship management skills.
- Customer service 'first' approach.
- Document/report preparation expertise.
- Experience in reviewing systems and processes.
- License and lease management experience.
- Highly approachable and engaging demeanour.
- Tertiary qualifications in property, business administration, or similar (preferred).
- Experience in managing property portfolios involving various stakeholders.
- Experience in Customer/Client Relationship Management.
- High-level communication skills.
- Ability to administer compliance of existing and future commercial leases and licenses.
- Proficiency in preparing and drafting documents for executive approval.
- Demonstrated competency and experience in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Knowledge of legal administration associated with leases and licenses.
