AddressWe are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Property Manager to join our boutique agency and manage a small portfolio of properties in the Geelong and Surf Coast area.
This position can be part time or full time depending on the successful candidates preference.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing rental properties, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a small portfolio of residential leased properties
- Tasks will include lease renewals, condition reports, inspections
- Handle rental provider and renter inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements imposed by the Vic Residential Tenancies Act
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure properties are well-maintained
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with external contractors
- Prepare and execute lease agreements
- Keep accurate records of rental income, expenses, and other financial transactions
- Maintain strong relationships with renters and renter providers
- Ability to work from home
Qualifications:
- Experience in property management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent knowledge of local and state laws/regulations
- Good understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act 1997
- Current valid CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
