As a result of expansion within the Sydney business we are now looking to appoint an additional Property Manager to our Asset Services team. This role will report directly to the head of Asset Services and will be responsible for managing a range of commercial office premises on behalf of our landlord clients.
About the role:
- Accurately abstract all property leases in administration software and keep up to date
- Review rent collections, conduct credit control, provide update to clients and coordinate default proceedings where necessary
- Ensure compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives
- Maintain interface with third-party owners and accounting team to ensure total contract compliance, including preparation of accurate and timely reporting
- Coordinate and oversee on behalf of client, all tenant communications and conduct tenant social initiatives
- Identify existing tenants for renewal negotiations, provide recommendations to client and negotiate renewals/extensions
- Work together with FM and Sustainability team to provide suggestions to the client for ESG initiatives
- Participate in leasing and client team meetings and ensure effective communication between leasing and property management team members in order to achieve client’s goals and objectives
About you:
- 2 + years of real estate property management or related experience
- Possess real estate license
- Strong knowledge of finance and building operations
- Previous experience in analysing and negotiating commercial lease and/or contract language
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
