Role: A06 Property Officer
Salary: $76,968 to $88,249 dependent on experience
Permanent Role
Full time office hours Monday to Friday
Darwin based role
As the AO6 Property officer you will will manage a portfolio of commercial and residential properties
This role includes the management of
- employee and head leases
- service contracts
- property maintenance
- managing property letting, inspections and preparation of reports and recommendations
The AO6 Property officer is an integral role within the Assets, Property and Insurance team supporting the organisations strategic objectives and continuity of business operations
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Qualifications in property management
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience in Housing or Property Management with a strong understanding of the Residential TenanciesAct 1999
- Provide support to the Assets, Property and Insurance team in a range of functions associated with leasing and maintaining properties
- An understanding of both the Head (3rd party) and Residential leases including receipting and refunding of bonds
- Experience of conducting property inspections and ingoing and outgoing reports
- Liaising with a range of diverse stakeholders
- Assisting with the preparation of tenancy agreements
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft office software applications
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement legislation, regulations and standards.
