The Position
We are seeking an experienced Support Officer to join the Property and Security team located at the Reef Authority’s main office in Townsville. This position provides support to the Business Operations team in all aspects of sustainable property management, protective security, and business continuity. This role provides a corporate service to the whole-of-agency.
The position supports the delivery of a range of matters related to the Reef Authority’s sustainable property management requirements. The position is one of a team that provides frontline services to internal and external stakeholders contacting the Reef Authority with a variety of requests. It encompasses day-to-day tasks, including supporting the administration of the corporate vehicle fleet, assisting with asset and facilities management and overall services to the Reef Authority staff to enable their day-to-day work.
This is an office-based position located in Townsville providing frontline services to staff and stakeholders contacting the Reef Authority with a variety of requests. Due to operational requirements, there are no working from home arrangements available for this position.
The current position is ongoing however through this process may create a merit pool to fill similar ongoing and non-ongoing positions that become available within the next 18 months.
