About the Role
Become part of our dynamic Customer Centres of Excellence (CCoE) at EnergyAustralia, where you'll directly influence our customer strategy and drive the success of our Product business unit. As the Propositions Strategy & Delivery Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of our Product team. Your focus will be on generating high-quality price and proposition data, refining systems and processes, and deepening industry expertise to craft compelling mass-market customer offers and core energy plans. - Collaboratively define and socialise EA's broader Proposition strategy of the future, anticipating future regulatory developments and competitive pressures.
- Lead the delivery and prioritisation of initiatives and projects to improve the competitiveness and attractiveness of customer value propositions for customers
- Use analysis and insights to create market leading strategies and propositions aligned with the Customer Plan and Strategy across the customer portfolio to drive value growth and retention.
- Develop business cases for new customer value propositions and to support recommended pricing adjustments and engage relevant stakeholders.
- Provide key strategic input to solve customer or industry problems in innovative ways to allow EA to grow value in the market.
- Contribute to the regular assessments of in-market products and offers and follow up of issues with customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance obligations, value or operational issues for front office teams
- Work with the Pricing Strategy CCoE to determine prices of new and existing products.
- Work closely with other Customer teams across the portfolio to develop go to market requirements, targets and ensure these are achieved.
- Guide teams across the Product CCoE, and broader Customer business unit in producing commercial analysis, product reviews, business cases, road maps, business requirements, funding approvals, product performance reports.
How can you support the Energy Transition
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years’ demonstrated experience in the development and achievement of consumer product strategies in a complex industry (e.g. utilities, telco, finance, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and strong and collaborative relationships.
- Excellent commercial acumen and an ability to present commercial positions and business cases.
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- Experience in leading development of high quality product and proposition strategies, gain buy in and guide teams on the successful delivery of the strategic roadmap.
- Impressive written and verbal communication and presentation skills
