We are a small team private practice committed to providing comprehensive neuroaffirming assessments across the lifespan and holistic and client-centered therapy supporting children, adolescents, and their families.

The Position
We are looking to expand our team with a Psychologist, who depending on qualifications and experience, can support our team to:
- Conduct thorough and affirming neurodevelopmental assessments for children, adolescents, and adults exploring Autism, ADHD, and other developmental conditions
- Administer Psycho-Educational assessments to evaluate children’s cognitive and learning profiles
- Collaborate with other professionals within the practice to design and implement tailored therapy plans, with a strong focus on neuro-affirming and evidence-based principles
- Provide neuroaffirming and trauma-informed Psychological Therapy and/or Play Therapy to children and adolescents
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers, providing support and psychoeducation, empowering them to support their child's well-being and development
- Collaborate with other allied health professionals to enhance support for client’s individual needs
- Demonstrate understanding and practical application of neuro-affirming approaches and practices
- Maintain professional practice documents (e.g., reporting documents, intervention plans, professional practice and professional development documents)
- Participate in team meetings, client case conferences, and professional development activities
Desired Experience
- Experience (or willingness to train) in conducting neuroaffirming neurodevelopmental assessments
- Experience in directive and non-directive Play Therapy and/or Creative Therapy
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based intervention and therapeutic practices related to neurodevelopmental disorders, child development, trauma, and play-based interventions

- Have a positive and friendly disposition, outstanding interpersonal skills, and value individual diversity
- Demonstrated outstanding professional conduct and work ethic
- Growth mindset with ability to identify own learning needs, strengths, and limitations to improve skills and competencies
- Open and honest communication collaboration skills to work effectively with practice team members, clients, and other Allied Health professionals
- Demonstrated ability to be change-ready so that new processes and systems can be quickly integrated as we continue to grow, improve, and evolve as a practice
- Hold a Degree in Psychology, with experience in educational, developmental, or clinical psychology
- Current full registration with AHPRA by the Psychology Board of Australia as a Psychologist
