We currently have the opportunity for Psychologists to join our team in either part time or full-time capacities and have children and adolescents waiting for you to form part of their support team.
 
We offer a tailored caseload within a psychology-specific practice, allowing you to see clients which fulfil you as a clinician. With all work completed within work hours and the opportunity for a hybrid role (clinic and remote), our psychologists find that the balance between work and home is well maintained. Supervision and support from colleagues and the leadership team, as well as a large variety of resources at their fingertips, enables our psychologists to be the best they can for their clients.
 
Growth and development is highly valued at Step by Step Psychology and as such we offer the opportunity for external and internal professional development, clinical supervision, Educational and Developmental Psychology endorsement supervision, peer supervision and much more. We train all of our psychologists in neuro-affirming assessment administration, helping them to develop a well rounded skill set.

Based in Blackburn and Nunawading, Step by Step Psychology has been meeting the psychology needs of our community since 2014. While we are a well-established business, we regularly review our systems and processes to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of not only our community, but our wonderful team members.
 
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a psychologist who is interested in working with children and adolescents, with a variety of presentations. We have a neurodiverse caseload, with both neurotypical and neurodivergent clients presenting anxiety, mood challenges, school difficulties and needing emotional regulation support. We also conduct a range of formal assessments, including those for autism, ADHD and learning disorders.
 
A psychologist who sees the value in supporting and learning from others would thrive in our team.
