Your day at Early Start Australia may include:
- Conduct clinical assessments (i.e. ASD, ADHD, cognitive)
- Provide therapy interventions and resources to clients and families through evidence-based practice to meet individual and family goals.
- Provide support to parents, educators and allied health professionals on evidence-based interventions to address cognitive, social and / or behavioural difficulties
- Review progress in collaboration with individuals and families to celebrate achievement, obtain feedback on services provided and set new priorities.
- Provide professional reports for funding bodies to comprehensively demonstrate the great work you are doing.
- Ensure a focus on continuous development through daily CPD activities
What do you need to join?
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology.
- Experience in conducting mental health, cognitive and functional assessments.
- Highly practiced child and family counselling skills, with offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions, to children, young people and parents
- Compliance – AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training.
