A Casual Receptionist/Administration Assistant is required for our busy Psychologist practice in the CBD. The successful applicant must be well presented, motivated, well-spoken, and able to complete tasks to a high professional standard. This position is casual and hours will be rostered between the hours of 7.45am- 5.45pm Monday-Friday. This is a temporary position to cover staff absence until January 2025.
It is essential that you are available to work 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) between the following dates:
2nd September 2024- 9th of October 2024
It is preferable that you are also available on the following dates:
28th June 2024
5th July 2024
10th July 2024
12th July 2024
17th July 2024
19th July 2024
16th October 2024
17th October 2024
21st October 2024
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Answering the telephone
- Responding to client enquiries
- Arranging and confirming client appointments
- Taking messages for practice staff
- Responding to email enquiries and bookings
- Writing correspondence as directed
- Corresponding with referring GPs and Psychiatrists
- Booking appointments via Cliniko
- Taking client payments and providing receipts
- Using EFTPOS and Medicare Easyclaim Terminal
- Filing and maintenance of client files
- General administrative duties as required
- General office tidying and upkeep

- Professional presentation
- Working knowledge of Mac Computers and Microsoft Office Suite

- The ability to translate enquiries into bookings

- Data entry skills
- Capable of quickly adjusting client bookings
- Ability to problem-solve and use own initiative
- Previous experience as a Receptionist is desirable but not imperative
- Experience with Cliniko or Xero will be highly regarded
Experience in the area of administration or customer service is highly desirable.
