Your Next Director

Your New Role:
- Assessments and interventions for children, teens, parents, and families presenting with developmental, behavioural mental health concerns;
- A predominantly paediatric caseload;
- Based in the clinic, face-to-face and telehealth, with the possibility of providing services in the community (schools etc.) and trips to remote areas to provide services in these communities;
- As a psychologist, you will be valued in providing clinical consultation, assessment and advice to our clients, their families and other members of the client’s team;
- You will provide a psychological lens in guiding the care team to form therapy plans and interventions with children, young people, and families.
To succeed in this role, you want to work in a team environment and easily build rapport with your clients. As well as this, you will have the following:
- A recognised and relevant qualification as a Registered or Clinical Psychologist;
- Registration and professional membership with the relevant associated body (Psychology Board of Australia/AHPRA) for overseas applicants should be due for registration in the next three months;
- Commitment to a high standard of therapeutic practice and a passion for ensuring quality and integrity in all areas;
- An interest and experience in working with children;
- Experience in psychological assessments and psychometric testing;
- Have a proven ability to build and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- High level of communication skills, both written and verbal, including skills in report writing;
- Willing to engage in professional development;
- Be energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping our clients be their best;
- Ability to show initiative and self-motivation;
- Have a current WWC or willingness to obtain;
- Have a current WA driver’s license or the ability to obtain one;
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain;
- Training in CPR, undertaken within the past three years;
- Obtain a WA Department of Education Screening.
