Job Title: Psychologist Grade 5 - Principal Clinical Educator

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced psychologist who is enthusiastic about developing and supporting best practice in psychological interventions at the Royal Children's Hospital. In this full time role within the Psychology Department, you will be part of the leadership team of the Psychology Department, and will be operational manager for a team of Clinical Educators.
What you'll achieve:
You will oversee and contribute to to

• the design, implementation and evaluation of the psychology clinical education program for the hospital's psychology workforce, and for the broader RCH workforce
• provisional psychologist (student) placements, psychology registrar programs, and coordination of clinical supervision for psychologists.

You will also contribute direct teaching within the psychology clinical education program.
This position is classified as Psychologist Grade 5 (base salary $164,398 per annum, plus superannuation).
Your skills and experience:

• Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) with an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology, and with more than 10 years' experience working as a psychologist with children/adolescents
• Experience providing clinical supervision to staff and post-graduate students completing placements, and demonstrated ability provide education and teach other psychologists and/or students
• Expert knowledge of psychological and developmental disorders and their effects on children, young people and their families.

About the Psychology Department:
The Psychology Department provides professional, clinical and educational leadership to RCH psychologists across all teams and specialities. The Department also provides outpatient clinical psychology and neuropsychology services.
