We consist of a vibrant team of psychologists and receptionists with a passion for caring for and involving therapy animals in our work with our clients.
Mullum Road Clinic provides a unique service and we pride ourselves on being different to many other traditional private practices. Mullum Road was first established in 2009 and has five locations with over 38 psychologists.
🐶 Our Practice Manager Role:
Clinic Management - Are you an experienced healthcare administrator with a skill for organization. Do you enjoy being around animals? As the Practice Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Mullum Road Clinic Eltham, including overseeing clinic operations, managing administrative tasks, developing and implementing procedures and policies, fostering a supportive environment, overseeing practitioner relations and more.
This is a casual position (3-4 days) that has the opportunity to become a permanent part time role should the successful candidate prefer. Flexibility to cover additional days if other team members are unwell, or on leave, will be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will be available to commence as soon as possible. Training will be provided.
The following skills would be highly regarded:
- experience in Medical/Allied health practice management.
- experience in navigating allied health practice management software systems or similar (for example, Prac Suite);
- cash-handling, EFTPOS machine experience including knowledge of NDIS and Medicare;
- proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel in particular, PowerPoint and Publisher);
- experience in other workplace efficiency programs e.g. Mail.
- Ability to update handbooks, procedures and polices including ones relating to OHS and Workplace Safety;;
- exemplary written communication skills in the areas of spelling, punctuation and grammar;
- leader ship skills, multi-tasking and attention to detail are all important to the role.

- Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
