About the role
The Asset Management Unit working within the School Infrastructure department is responsible for making learning facilities better for children through delivering new buildings, undertaking maintenance and upgrades with the sole purpose of delivering high quality education.
The role undertakes Project Management duties to manage two existing Public Private Partnership (PPP) contracts to ensure effective management, compliance, and administration. You will:
- Lead and manage PPP team to plan, develop and implement projects.
- Administer modifications, negotiations and apply dispute resolution and risk management skills.
- Manage, develop, and maintain systems and database to ensure availability and accurate project data.
- Prepare reports briefings, submissions, and related correspondence.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar Project Management and contract management focused role.
- Proven conflict resolution abilities allowing for identifying issues, maintaining confidentiality, and managing conflict of interests.
- An understanding of best practice standards and relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Ability to manage complex and sensitive consultation, negotiations and build trusting relationships with multiple stakeholders whilst balancing expectations, viewpoints and interests.
