THE WORK:​ 

This role is influential at its core. You will work with our public sector clients to build and deliver their Data and AI strategies. In addition to key client relationships, you will also be involved in significant engagement across our business, at multiple levels.  You will be someone who can identify opportunities for Data and AI and build capability with key teams internally.

Job Qualifications

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

  • Qualifications in Statistics, Business Management, or similar area, OR qualifications in public sector 
  • Demonstrated experience within management consulting and the ability to effectively advise clients on AI specific solutions  
  • Demonstrated ability working in data & AI within the public sector 
  • Business strategy acumen, e.g. business case development, identification of value opportunities for data & analytics, operating model design 
  • Experience in developing data & AI operating models, including an understanding of key resources required to deliver data & analytics capability  
  • Understanding of functional data & AI architecture and its ability to enable data & AI products or use cases  
  • Experience in translating business challenges in the public sector into actionable data & AI solutions  
  • Experience in workshop facilitation, including design thinking and/or other techniques 
  • Experience delivering complex data & AI transformation projects  
  • Proven track record of >$5m of annual sales in consulting industry OR management of a P&L of >$3m 
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills to actively engage with clients  
  • Negotiation skills and proven track record in sales 
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technology, industry, and operations 
  • Program management experience for complex data & AI transformation projects  
  • Demonstrated sustained client relations management experience at a C-suite level or operated at a senior management level in the industry role  
  • 7+ years of experience in a people management role, including the management of both onshore and offshore diverse teams 
  • Ability to drive the adoption and scaling of data, AI and new technologies through business development, and pipeline origination and management. 
  • Ability to Influence leadership agenda and support the implementation of platform strategies at an enterprise level.  
  • Able to leverage Accenture networks to bring the latest thinking in Data and AI offerings, case studies and market trends. 
  • Proactive awareness of emerging technologies, trends, and innovations with data & AI, and its implications in the public sector  
  • 10+ years of experience in the public sector (or related sectors) 
  • Understanding of public sector specific challenges, regulatory considerations, and trends 
  • Due to the nature of work that we perform, candidates need to have valid working rights within Australia (ie. citizenship or Permanent residency) 

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE 

  • MBA or equivalent qualification  
  • Experience hosting or speaking at industry or functional data & AI external events 
  • Recognised personal brand within data & AI or public sector
