Role
- Develop and support staff and volunteers, nurturing their skills and personal attributes in community centers.
- Oversee critical venue operations including the food bank, maintenance, and Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
- Lead and support reception & Administration team for the Youth Services facility, fostering a positive environment for exceptional service delivery to youth.
- Utilize strong organisational skills to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement innovative programs and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Manage administration processes and maintain communication with tenants and partners.
- Promote community access to Youth Services.
- Maintain facility management systems and ensure the physical setup meets the needs of hirers.
- Oversee the booking system and maintenance of the internet café.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets.
- Ensure services adhere to integrated service delivery principles.
About you
- Proven facility operations management expertise
- Experience working directly with young people, understanding their needs
- Tertiary qualification in business administration or relevant field, with some applicable experience, or significant experience in a community-based environment
- Experience in reporting, business planning, and efficient management of resources
- Working With Children Check
- Police Check
- Local Government Experience
