About the role
Your role as Purchasing Administrator will sit within the procurement team, working with stakeholders across the business to purchase and oversee the delivery of materials needed for customer solutions. You will be hands on with the management and processing of customer orders/sales, dispatch of materials, delivery and transport of goods (including engaging logistics suppliers), data entry to our ERP System, month end reconciliation, and reporting on stock levels, delivery timeframes and supplier performance.
You will have:
- Experience in a Sales/Logistics administrative position or similar role.
- A minimum of Higher School Certificate, further education in a procurement/logistics capacity highly regarded.
- Strong Microsoft application skills in particular MS Excel, with a heavy eye for detail.
- Advanced communication skills, from general customer service through to vendor discussions and follow ups.
- Proactive work approach with an enthusiasm for a job well done, and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of Shipping/Cargo, not essential but highly favourable.
- Knowledge with ERP systems, and a proven track record of data entry and general administration.
