About the role**About the Roleย **
The Purchasing Administrator is responsible for purchasing maintenance tasks and supplier maintenance ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures across the university. The role provides customer service support in relation to purchasing processes and payment of invoices.
The role is based in the Payables team, reporting into the Payables, Travel & Expense Manager.
- Support of Purchase orders created
- Liaising with Accounts Payables on the banking verification status of vendors
- Set up all new suppliers in accordance with UTS procurement policy
- Liaising with the vendor on-boarding partner
- Action all purchasing and system related queries relating to vendor creation and maintenance
- Provision of operational support when and where required across the Shared Services Team
- Contribution to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier set-up and purchasing spectrum
