About the Position

DTS has an exciting opportunity for an experienced  Procurement/Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team at our premises in Maddington WA. You will be responsible for a diverse range of support functions including purchasing, inventory management, sourcing and supplier relations.

The role will be hands on, fast paced and working in a close team environment.

To excel in this role, you will need to be highly motivated to build solid working relationships with our internal sales team, suppliers and support the initiatives driven by management.

Most of all we seek a self-motivated person that demonstrates commitment, attention to detail and wants more than a job.

Someone who is well presented, energetic and looking for a long-term role.

Available Hours - 5 Days a week Monday - Friday 

Skills:

• Outstanding communications skills with excellent command of written English.
• Customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Fast typing speed with accuracy
• Ability to perform high volume data entry in an accurate timely manner.
• Organisation skills and can prioritize.
• Time Management
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Corrections as quickly as possible
• Manage Data Flow with managers of departments within the organisation
• System maintenance
• Confidential 

To be successful for this position, the applicant will ideally possess the following:

• Driver’s license.

• Positive attitude and common sense approach to tasks.
