As a result of our recent success in securing several large contracts, Neo are excited to have a number of new roles to fill.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic Purchasing Officer who will strategically drive the timely purchase of materials across the business. You will be responsible for the management of all materials coming in to the business to ensure we meet customer demand and timelines.
- You will strategically source, plan and purchase items and materials both locally and internationally
- You will be proactively involved in the Company’s production schedule to ensure timely supply of items and parts
- You are able to handle multiple tasks and work to meet deadlines.
- Oversee the spare parts and stock management across the company to ensure inventory is managed in real time on our company ERP
- You will develop relationships with suppliers to deliver high quality and cost-effective supply of items and parts
- Manage inwards and outwards freight requirements
- Identification and realisation of cost reduction opportunities
- Accurate and timely reporting of purchasing data
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering (or relevant - desired but not essential)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing role with demonstrated experience in process improvement
- You will have experience with engineered products
- Extensive experience using an ERP system in the manufacturing industry
- To be dynamic and adaptable as requirements change
