As a Purchasing & Inventory Officer at Maxisafe, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels, and optimising inventory processes to support the needs of the business.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimise stock levels and minimise excess or obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations and Logistic teams to ensure seamless inventory flow from receipt to distribution.
- Conduct regular audits and analyses to identify discrepancies, root causes, and areas for improvement in inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs, support business objectives, and meet customer demands.
- Utilise inventory management software and tools to track inventory movement, monitor stock levels and generate reports.
- Proven experience in Inventory Management, preferably in a manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and an analytical approach to decision-making.
