Temp to Perm Purchasing officer required for National business located close to Wetherill Park

The role is located close to Wetherill Park, NSW. This position offers the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. As a key player in our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing vital internal relationships and supplier interactions. This role demands a proactive individual who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and tackle challenges head-on.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Efficiently manage the end-to-end procurement process
• Negotiate and secure cost-effective agreements with suppliers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet procurement objectives
• Handle administrative tasks related to procurement activities
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure smooth operations
• Investigate any QA issues

• Previous experience in a purchasing and procurement role
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
