Purchasing Officer.
Pioneer Kitchens is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Purchasing officer to join the team.
Pioneer Kitchens is a locally owned and operated kitchen and joinery supplier to builders and private customers, our aim is to supply Canberra and surround with the best quality custom made kitchens and joinery to coordinate with our customers lives. With over 30 years’ experience in the home improvement business, Pioneer Kitchens are the leading supplier for kitchens, bathrooms laundries ect in the Canberra region.
We are looking for a hard working Purchasing Officer. The perfect candidate must be proactive, have excellent communication skills.
The Role
As the Purchasing Officer you will liaise with the factory foremen and office detailers.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all materials are ordered correctly and arrive within the designated time frame.
· Liaise with suppliers and representatives
· Enter invoices
· Confirm all orders
· Ensure timely delivery
· Research and identify new products and suppliers
· Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers
· ensure we are always getting the best prices
Skills Required
· MYOB experience will be regarded highly
-basic Microsoft and excel knowledge is regarded highly
· Previous experience within a purchasing roll will be highly regarded, however not essential.
· Good phone manner.
· Product and material knowledge will be highly regarded however not
