Parklands Christian College is a growing school located on 46 acres of land on the southern corridor from Brisbane to Beaudesert at Park Ridge, Logan, Qld. We are a Christian, co-educational school of 820 students, soon to be from Early Learning through to Year 12 with an established set of values that permeate everything to which we aspire. About the Role:
An exciting opportunity awaits you here at Parklands Christian College as we search for a Purchasing and Procurement Officer to join our esteemed team on a Full-Time basis.
You will be required to oversee the day-to-day activities of all purchasing and procurement within the college. Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders and coordinate the delivery of stock to departments within the college campus.
You will be required to manage and maintain up-to-date supplier information, negotiate contracts, research, and evaluate prospective suppliers. The role will be required to complete financial and administrative functions. As well as adhere to budgets, cost analysis, and generate reports, in collaboration with Line Managers and the College Business Manager.
To be successful, you will have:
- Procurement Certification Program Level 1 or 2 or equivalent
- Hold a current Qld Working with Children Blue Card or be able to obtain one.
- An active Christian faith.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and College Systems i.e TASS.
- Effective problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
