Purchasing, Systems And Governance Lead

Stanmore is an Australian resources company with operations and exploration projects in the Bowen and Surat Basins. We are experiencing significant growth and as a result we have a great opportunity for a Purchasing, Systems and Governance Lead to join our Supply team located in Brisbane.    

As Purchasing, Systems and Governance Lead you will lead a small team responsible for Purchasing Management, Supply Excellence and Governance with a focus on digitalization and automation to increase process efficiency and accuracy. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

Vendor Management

• Development and implementation of a uniform digital vendor registration processes

Supply Excellence

• Apply continuous improvement and innovation principles to constructively review processes and improvement suggestions
• Coach and support business process representatives in driving adoption of approved SAP processes and ensuring understanding and compliance to SAP principles
• Manage the Supply continuous Improvement register, and Supply SAC dashboards
• Coordination through agreed SLT prioritization of SAP enhancements and projects
• Perform or document SAP training and knowledge transfer 

Purchasing Management

• Ensure through effective team planning that all PR to PO conversion activities occur within the SLA
• Development of team to meet department related KPIs
• Achieve cost savings through effective use of resources
• Conduct initial scoping for a Digital RFQ tool

Governance

• Establish a supply Governance performance and monitoring program to efficiently analyse KPI data and recommend and drive initiatives ore remediation actions to improve performance and compliance
• Coordinate management reporting on DoA requirements, SoD requirements for supply functions, procedures and audit compliance.
• Perform department reporting requirements as required. 

To be a success you will need:

• demonstrated experience in a team leadership role in a similar procurement lead role
• demonstrated experience and knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
• strong governance experience with ability to drive compliance and improve performance.
• experience with improving digitalisation and automation processes
