Your new role
In your role as a QA coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Pre-operational Inspections
- Product clearance
- Organizing and driving process improvements
- Conducting internal quality systems audits
- Assisting in third party certification audits
- Daily reporting on product reviews
- Following up consumer complaints and internal non-compliance issues
- Daily GMP checks
- Monitor HACCP
- Assist in micro sampling, micro swabbing, etc.
- Perform shelf life extensions
- Daily calibration of all equipment
- Maintain Site Pest control program
Skills, Experience and Abilities
- Experience in Quality Control within medium size manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong computer skills with advanced Microsoft Excel and Access knowledge.
- Experience in food production-based warehousing is desirable.
- Experience in the use of appropriate ERP system.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills. In particular, the ability to advocate change and influence internal opinion.
- Highly numerate with the ability to understand data and to interpret it in a lateral manner.
- Ability to propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Diplomacy and tact in order to gain support at all levels in the business coupled with confidence, intelligence and business acumen skills to influence abilities and best business outcomes.
- Detail oriented with the ability to assess all options while thinking laterally
- An individual who is prepared to own the process and accept accountability for performance.
- Decisive, with the ability to make informed and sound decisions.
