Qa Laboratory Assistant - Rotating Shift Work

The Casella family arrived in Australia from Sicily in 1957, bringing with them not only generations of family wine making, but the know-how to produce wines that are more than simply a drink with dinner.

Today, Casella Family Brands is a multi-beverage company and Australia’s largest family-owned winery, based in Yenda, NSW.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Laboratory Assistants are responsible for the following:

• Conducting line QA check sheets
• Testing of bottled wine
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment within the laboratory
• Adhering to WH&S policies and procedures in the workplace

Essential Qualifications/Skills

• Literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• An eye for detail
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft Excel and Word
• Previous laboratory experience or experience in QA roles preferred
• Certificate III in Laboratory Operations or equivalent desirable
• Ability to work Rotating Shifts with own reliable transport.

The role requires a hands-on and energetic person with a high level of organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately. This is an 8 hour Rotating Shift position with shifts rotating weekly.
