A day in the life…
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager and leading a team of QA professionals, key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Lead a quality improvement-driven team to strive for consumer satisfaction, elimination of loss and waste in all process streams, and a consumer quality focus in all operations employees.
- Contribute to the development of competence of quality professionals.
- Promote quality awareness and commitment to quality across the unit.
- Ensure maintenance and execution of all elements of the Quality System.
- Define and update the specific quality procedures, instructions and tools in the area of technical expertise.
- Contribute to define and follow-up on quality KPIs.
- Set operational objectives in collaboration with the Factory Quality Manager.
- Support Nestlé Continuous Excellence program in the quest for zero defect.
- Support activities to achieve compliance with the Nestlé Quality Management System requirements and other applicable instructions and standards.
- Support unit readiness for internal and external audits.
- Performs trouble shooting and corrective action follow-up of non-conformities.
What will make you successful
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, and clear police check.
- Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong leader with a drive to deliver quality outcomes.
- 3+ experience within Food manufacturing.
- Understanding & experience in quality assurance programs.
- Experience leading project teams and being part of a change effort.
- Participating in audit teams and/or improvement projects with more senior staff members.
- Developed communication and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality
