About the role:
We are seeking an exceptional QHSE Manager to join our team at our Jandakot facility in Western Australia. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity for both international and domestic travel, providing a dynamic and enriching career experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effectiveness and compliance of our management system with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors for certifications and audits, and conduct internal audits as needed.
- Manage and monitor non-conformances, ensuring effective corrective actions.
- Report performance metrics to senior management, driving continuous improvement.
- Champion quality, health, safety, environmental, and sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct hazard and risk assessments, implementing control measures and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Support senior management in managing operational risks and ensuring legal compliance.
- Oversee incident and accident reporting, investigation, and injury management, including return-to-work activities.
- Develop QHSE plans and documentation to support operational excellence.
- Manage emergency preparedness and response protocols.
- Foster a culture of active participation and consultation on QHSE matters across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas or energy industry.
- Proven track record in implementing and maintaining management systems and certifications in relevant regions.
- Tertiary qualifications in related fields.
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Expertise in injury management and incident investigation.
- Proficiency with administrative systems and tools, including SharePoint and Office 365.
- Training and assessment qualifications are desirable.
- Understanding of Myosh or similar Health & Safety Management Software systems
