A unique opportunity for a high performing State Sales Manager to lead our existing Sales Team within our Modular and Conveyor Belt divisions at our BRAND NEW offices and fabrication building in Wacol, QLD. This full-time role is part of the huge growth plan managing established and new portfolios. This is including a fully maintained company vehicle, competitive remuneration including bonus plan and on the job product training.

Key responsibilities:
- Sales team leadership - mentoring, coaching and guiding the sales team to achieve and exceed budgets.
- Foster strong communication and teamwork with Internal Sales (customer care) team.
- Working with the Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) and Operations Manager, identify targets for increased new business and organic growth through new products, new markets and further opportunities within current customers.
- Evaluate Sales Team’s skill sets and establish training where appropriate for any knowledge gaps and development opportunities including sales training programs.
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and completed in a professional and timely manner.
- Organise and attend regular sales meetings and ensure communication is seamless across the organisation.
- Analyses and approval of expense budgets for the sales department.
- Actively seek new market opportunities by employing a Business Develop Management approach within the defined selected market, individually and within the team.
- Provide regular performance reviews of the Sales Team based on company KPIs.
- Prepare sales and forecast reports, backed by market knowledge and present to Senior Management and the Sales Group.
- Negotiate new customer commercial agreements.
- Review and approve pricing and discount requests, achieving increased volume targets.
Key requirements for the role:
- Demonstrated ability and experience in managing and developing a high achieving Sales Team.
- Affinity with the belting industry is preferrable but not essential.
- Competent MS Office skills, e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Competent CRM software skills and use as a management tool.
- Highly effective communication (verbal, written), interpersonal.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Professional manner for vendor interaction.
