Skills Required:
Qualified Baker AQF certificate 3 or 4 with at least 4 years experience working in a high production bakery.
Tasks and Duties include (but not limited to):
Responsibilities:
• Check the safety and cleanliness of machinery, equipment and instruments before starting production
• Check the orders, calculate and prepare necessary ingredients for bread production
• Baking, shaping and finishing products to the Brumby’s standard following the Brumby’s recipes
• Read notices regarding new promotions
• Ensure that the daily bakery range is made to a high standard in a timely, safe and consistent manner
• Monitor the ovens
• Keep ingredients at appropriate temperatures, safely stored and in an ordered manner using stock rotation and day dots
• Clean bakery equipment after completing work.
• Ensure coldroom, prover and freezer are always clean and well-organised
• Inform the Franchisee or shift supervisor of any concerns such as broken machinery, items that need replacing or low ingredient supply
• Slice, package and deliver wholesale products to businesses
• Complete the Food Handling Safety records book daily
• Keep up to date with training using RIOT and attending workshops
• Communicate effectively with other team members
