Walter's Artisan Produce is one of the region's leading retail bakery brands - with four locations on the Sunshine Coast providing a complete range of hand made pies, patisserie and country style breads.

Walter's Artisan Produce operates a dedicated patisserie and pastry kitchen that supplies our stores, plus a small number of select retail partners. The current patisserie range spans Australian favourites through to high end European pastries, croissants & danishes and has developed quite a following amongst local and tourists alike.

The growing team now needs a high quality senior pastry chef with considerable experience to take the business to its next level of growth and exposure. It is expected that the successful candidate will have significant background in the industry (ideally specific to patisserie production but other bakery backgrounds will be considered) and will have the ability to both produce to inhouse recipes and contribute to new product design. Experience with staff leadership, order management and stock control (volumes and quality) are essential.

We are ideally seeking a trade qualified professional who is keen to pursue additional qualifications and development - but again given the unique nature of the role other backgrounds will be considered - as long as you have a passion for the industry and your team.

Both locals and those relocating to the Sunshine Coast should apply.
