Similar position previously and be passionate about Bread, flavours, correct procedures, quality, and presentations
- Attention to detail, creativity and consistency in cutting, pre-shaping, mixing and shaping dough
- Ability to supervise and train junior bakers and apprentices
- Strong work ethics whilst having excellent organisational skills and ability to comply with hygiene and safety regulations
- Ability to select and weigh the correct ingredients, check the baking time of bread, baguettes and pastry rolls
- Strong ability to cut out, pre-shape and final bread shaping by hand
- Ability to use baking equipment, monitor baking time and temperatures
- Relevant trades qualification and 2 or 3 years post qualifications
