AddressFine Spun Group is looking for a Qualified Chef or experienced cook to work in our busy café and events/wedding business.
Our café and events business is located at The Woolshed in Yallah, 15 minutes south of Wollongong. Fine Spun Group is known for serving some of the best food in the Illawarra and Sydney and now we are looking for a new team member who loves great food as much as we do.
We work on a rotating 2 week roster which will involve weekends, some nights but mostly days. Your full time week would be around 40 hours with overtime paid for hours worked over 45hrs a week.
The goal is to get the work done and go home. We are fair and work with our staff to create an amazing working environment and great atmosphere. We are flexible to work with days you may require off for events you may have coming up. Ideally work is not everything and you need to be able to have a life outside of the kitchen.
This is a full-time position with a salary of between $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.
The successful applicant will enjoy working as part of a close team and must be reliable and have a friendly manner.

= Can assist in planning and implement menus
= Is involved in the preparation and cooking of food to a consistently high standard
= Has a strong passion for food
= Has a strong knowledge of food, health and safety practices
= Has excellent time management and efficiency skills
= Can work well as part of a team or as an individual
This position has the potential to grow into a senior management role within the company.
