We are looking for a Qualified Chef with high presentation skills and an ability to run our kitchen efficiently. The position would be 30 hours per week evening work.
Our restaurant Three Steps on George is open Monday to Saturday for dinner. The position is part time however full time may be considered. The role requires the applicant to work Saturdays and afternoon/evenings.
Success candidate will be able to demonstrate.
- Passion for cooking.
- Menu planning and costing skills
- Excellent skills and effective communication.
- Manage and lead the kitchen team.
- Maintain inventory levels and control costs to maximise profit.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or higher.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Food safety and sanitation certificates required.
