We are looking for qualified Chefs to join our dynamic kitchen brigade.
Nu Nu Restaurant is open 7 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Located on the Esplanade in Palm Cove - there is no better place to work!
Nu Nu has been recognised as the Good Food Guide's Regional Restaurant of the Year. You will be working in the regions most dynamic and exciting kitchen utilising local market produce and unique tropical ingredients.
In addition to cooking, responsibilities will include providing support to the Head Chef in the areas of:-
Training and mentoring apprentice chefs,
Assisting with managing supplier relationships,
Assisting with stock and cost control,
Adhering to the guidelines of the restaurant's food safety program
The successful candidate will possess:-

A team player with strong leadership skills,
Experience working in a busy, fast paced environment,
Excellent communication and organisational skills,
Energetic and passionate about food and hospitality,
Be motivated, professional with a positive attitude.
Proven experience in a similar role is essential.
Skills and experience required: Minimum 2 years work experience as a qualified chef and relevant Diploma qualifications.
