AddressRydges Gold Coast Airport is looking for a Qualified Chef to join our exciting new hotel with modern restaurants, bars and spacious kitchens.
Only 3 years young, this Gold Coast lifestyle themed hotel with 192 guest rooms, a large conferencing and events market, lobby bar, 7 day breakfast buffet, modern Italian restaurant “Runway” and an outstanding roof top bar and restaurant, “The Salty Fox”.
Certainly not your traditional airport hotel and as much a leisure hotel as corporate style airport hotel, this new product to the Gold Coast will be the first and last impression of our region for many of our guests, we will represent the region, hence the importance of having the right team.
An unrivalled product in the Asia Pacific where our beautiful hotel is only a 2 minute walk West to the international terminal, 5 minutes walk East to Kirra Beach, 30 minute drive South to Byron Bay and still only 30 minutes drive North to Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and our world famous theme parks.

Successful candidates should possess the following skills:
- Preferably worked in a hotel environment and hold relevant culinary qualifications
- Skilled in traditional and modern techniques, food provenance, quality produce and seasonality
- Exceptional time management skills
- Imagination to explore new cooking avenues
- Well versed in maintaining a high level of kitchen hygiene.
- Take ownership of the cleanliness of the kitchen and ability to clean during service periods
