The Gold Coast's most iconic restaurant Georges Paragon has an exciting new opening for a creative, experienced and highly motivated Qualified Chefs, Sous Chef and a Head Chef to showcase their culinary skills and lead our team.
Qualified Chefs:
- Relevant supporting certificates for qualifications.
- Experience in cooking across a variety of front line departments.
Sous & Head Chef responsibilies:
- Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring quality and consistency in every aspect of our kitchens.
- A passion for food is a MUST
- Train and develop the cooking techniques of our chefs
- Manage kitchen operations including orders and rosters.
- Assure compliance to health and safety standards
Requirements for Sous/ Head Chef
- 5+ years experience as an Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a high pressure environment.
- No working restrictions in Australia and MUST already be residing locally (no relocation applicants please)
- Full Australian Drivers License
