About the Role
In this role, you will support and collaborate with the Executive Chef in leading the kitchen team, crafting innovative menus, and ensuring every dish reflects the high standards synonymous with The Calile.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in luxury hotels or high-end restaurants.
- Exceptional culinary skills with a focus on contemporary, high-quality cuisine.
- Leadership qualities with a passion for coaching and developing team members.
- A creative mindset to continuously innovate and elevate our culinary offerings.
- A commitment to sustainability and using locally sourced, fresh ingredients.
- Flexibility for varied work schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and accredited Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
- Demonstrated understanding of food costing, manpower allocation and budgeting principles within a kitchen environment.
