Form of workEDGE Community Services requires Disability Support Workers for our Centre Based Programs at our busy Werribee and Geelong sites.
This position is an opportunity to assist with the implementation of programs, assisting with group daily excursions, facilitating, case notes and program planning.
The Staff at EDGE Community Services are committed to providing a safe learning space for all our participants. EDGE Community Services is open 6 days per week from 9am - 4pm and provides Centre Based Programs and Short Term accommodation to people who have a disabilities which include intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism and/or Mental illness.
Programs offered at our Werribee and Geelong sites include art/craft, cooking, music, gaming, health and fitness, gardening, beauty, and various community based excursions, therefore a drivers license is a must. We also provide transport from the Melton region which is rapidly growing.
People who have had some experience in the disability sector, who are qualified and experienced in the Disability and Mental health sector are most suited to this position.
