As an Early Childhood Educator you will:
Work alongside fellow educators to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children and their families.
Support the day to day running of the program.
Assess children's learning and development in relation to the EYLF/MTOP.
Critically reflect on your own practices.
Key responsibilities will include:
Planning innovative and engaging child initiated programs, incorporating both indoor and outdoor environments, sustainability and nature play.
Documenting children's learning and development to a high standard to make children's learning visible.
Supporting other educators and leading by example.
Continuing your professional development by seeking opportunities to further your knowledge and understanding.
Forming strong relationships with the Jump team, families and children.
Demonstrating best practice and knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)/My Time Our Place (MTOP), the National Quality Standards (NQS) and an understanding of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
Recognising where children are in their developmental stages and plan to extend their skills development and learning interests.
In order to be successful in this position, you will require:
A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate IV in Education Support, Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards), A Bachelor Degree in Teaching Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.
Current TRBWA registration for teachers (Degree Qualified).
A current Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance.
Current First Aid HLTAID012.
October 2022: Rated Exceeding in all 7 National Quality Standards (LDC).
May 2023: Rated Exceeding in all 7 National Quality Standards (OSHC).
