Your role as Fitter/Machinist consists out of:
- Assemble pumping equipment according to engineering specifications and drawings.
- Use a variety of machining tools and techniques to produce high-quality components.
- Program and operate CNC equipment to produce high quality components.
- Actively train others and share knowledge furthering the development of the whole team.
- Perform precision machining operations such as turning, milling, and drilling to tight tolerances.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and optimise manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

To become our new Fitter / Machinist, you need to :
- Hold a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Machining) or higher.
- Have 3 or more years’ experience as a fitter and machinist with experience in CNC machining.
- Have a commitment to accuracy and quality control
- Have a problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills

The pumps are custom built for many different systems.
