Fitter/Machinist Apprenticeship

Our Client is on the hunt for a mechanically minded individual to undertake a Fitter/Machinist Apprenticeship. You will learn the trade skills and techniques to successfully complete a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade), while specialising in the hydraulics industry.
Whilst completing this apprenticeship, you will not only explore in depth the world of machining but will also master the meticulous art of hydraulics under the guidance of skilled professionals. Experience a blend of mentorship, practical learning, and the challenge of troubleshooting and providing solutions.
 
Duties include, but not limited to:
Operate manual lathe and mill
Create and replace hydraulic hoses
Customer service
Review and replace stock
Repair hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and cylinders
Mark out jobs, set up machines, prepare materials, tools and fixtures
Diagnose faults and issues and craft long-lasting solutions
