Nailsworth Primary School OSHC is seeking applications from Qualified OSHC educators to support the Director/Assistant Director in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate program to meet the individual and group needs of school age children.
We are seeking enthusiastic educators with the ability to communicate well with children, staff and families. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
Our growing enrolments, and planned building developments makes this a great time to join our service that is supported by the Governing Council, the OSHC Advisory Committee and school leadership.
Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and My Time, Our Place Framework for School Age Care is preferred.
Position Requirements
- Actively engage in structured play-based learning with children
- Develop a working professional relationship with families, school leaders and their communities.
- Assist with children's individual learning and development by managing observations of children, program planning and reflections.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a high-quality service.
- Ability to work throughout the week (hours to be discussed if applicant successful)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced busy environment
- Reliable! As we work based on ratios we require someone who will be reliable and committed to working regular rostered hours each week.
Regulated requirements:
- ACECQA Approved Qualification for OSHC in SA
- A current Employee Working with Children's Check
- HLTAID012 First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training
- Child Protection Training (RRHAN-EC)
Availability to work (Hours are negotiable):
- Before School Care 6.45-8.45
- After School Care 2:30 - 6:15pm
- Holiday Program - up to 8 hours per day
