Quality Advisor | Residential Aged Care
Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse with a drive for quality improvement and education? This is a great opportunity to join a distinguished not-for-profit Aged Care facility in Sydney's Inner West.
About the role
This Quality Advisor will be responsible for the provision and co-ordination of quality care standards, compliance and education programs across the Aged Care residential home that meets the individual needs of the residents and management of the clinical care staff team.
Duties

• Lead and support quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care
• Develop and deliver educational programs for staff to ensure best practices
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including funding and policy protocols, and accreditation standards and processes
• Coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
• Assist the Aged Care home to strive for achieving 100% compliance with Quality standards 100% of the time
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain excellence in care delivery

Skills and experience

• Background working as a Clinical Manager and recent accreditation understanding/experience
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and accreditation standards in Aged Care
• Certification in education or quality improvement (preferred)
• Experience in conducting audits and developing performance improvement plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to drive change and influence others positively
• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
