The Aviation Capability Group is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Compliance Officer based in Brisbane. The successful applicant will develop and lead compliance frameworks and strategies across the organisation and will manage ACG’s Document Management System (DMS) and Quality Management System (QPM).
Responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and procedures, conducting audits, investigations and compliance activities and the development and delivery of training.
You will ensure the Aviation Capability Group meets our quality, safety, environmental and legislative requirements while driving high quality service delivery with a focus on best practice and continuous improvement.
Full-time temporary position available based in Brisbane with the possibility of extension.
Your Key Accountabilities will include:
- Develop and lead compliance frameworks and strategies across the Aviation Capability Group (ACG).
- Design, implement and evaluate policies, procedures and performance standards for ACG and ensure corrective and preventative actions are completed to support quality service delivery and ensure best practice and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and support the ongoing management of ACG's Document Management System (DMS), and Quality Management System (QMS), including continual reviews of these systems for improvement and compliance.
- Coordinate external and undertake internal audits, investigations, and compliance activities.
- Develop and deliver training to new users regarding safety and quality systems and proceses.
- Assist in the documentation of frameworks and strategies that meet ACG's quality, safety, compliance and operational requirements.
- Ensure all work performed for and on behalf of ACG meets quality, safety, environmental and legislative requirements and responsibilities
Highly Desirable:
- Lead Auditor Qualification
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Asessing
- Previous experience with ISO 9001 and 45001 frameworks
- Knowledge of Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulatory environment.
- Experience in advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems management and administration
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in quality, aviation, project or safety management
- Previous experience working with ISO 45001 framework
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
Special Conditions:
In compliance with CASA Drug and Alcohol Management Plan requirements, the preferred applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment testing and participate in the QGAir Drug and Alcohol Management Program.
