About the Role
As a progressive and passionate professional, this key position will provide hands on management, direction and support for, education, Quality and accreditation at Warrawee, Council's residential aged care facility.Reporting to the Facility Manager, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Overseeing and implementing education of staff including hands-on training and engaging third party accredited educators
  • Conduct training needs analysis and identify improvement opportunities, coordinate, deliver and evaluate relevant education to support remediating gaps and coaching the care home team for sustainability.
  • Managing and preparing reports on education and quality outcomes for operations, Executive and Councillors.
  • Maintaining and managing Warrawee's plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI) and review with key stakeholders to ensure compliance.

  • Qualification in Nursing (Div 1) with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience in residential aged care in education, quality or management role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Commonwealth Aged Care Quality Standards, Infection Control, Accreditation and AN-ACC.
