As a progressive and passionate professional, this key position will provide hands on management, direction and support for, education, Quality and accreditation at Warrawee, Council's residential aged care facility.Reporting to the Facility Manager, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing and implementing education of staff including hands-on training and engaging third party accredited educators
- Conduct training needs analysis and identify improvement opportunities, coordinate, deliver and evaluate relevant education to support remediating gaps and coaching the care home team for sustainability.
- Managing and preparing reports on education and quality outcomes for operations, Executive and Councillors.
- Maintaining and managing Warrawee's plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI) and review with key stakeholders to ensure compliance.
In this key leadership role, you will draw on your track record in leading and inspiring staff and creating a positive and motivating work environment.You will have a broad understanding of, and experience in providing education in a residential aged care facility. Your skills in developing and implementing strategies that align with our organisation's values.You will know the importance of building trusted partnerships and clarity of communication with a diverse range of stakeholders.You will be respected for your emotional intelligence as you work through complex challenges and identify areas of employee's skills and knowledge that require further learning development and create plans to achieve this.Additional requirements:
- Qualification in Nursing (Div 1) with current AHPRA registration.
- Experience in residential aged care in education, quality or management role.
- Extensive knowledge of Commonwealth Aged Care Quality Standards, Infection Control, Accreditation and AN-ACC.

- Evidence of right to work in Australia.
- Annual influenza vaccination and minimum of three COVID-19 vaccinations or authorised medical exemptions (in accordance with Council's COVID-19 Protective Behaviours Policy)
