AddressInnovative Support Australia (ISA) is a medium sized, profit for purpose organisation. We our dynamic and passionate about our services – and we’re growing! To keep pace with this growth, we are looking for a Quality & Safeguards Officer.
Quality and safeguarding is an integral part of our business due to the high level of regulatory and legislative safety and compliance requirements in the disability Industry. Reporting to the Quality and Safeguards Manager, you will be provided with strategic direction, strong mentoring and support.
This role will involve:
- Assisting and completing quality internal audits to maintain regulatory obligations
- Reviewing of policies and procedures in line with legislation and NDIS Practice Standards
- Providing guidance to colleagues in the implementation of organisational wide policies and procedures
- Supporting the Manager in project work related to business priorities and continuous improvements
- Completing reporting of incidents and the use of restrictive practices in line with NDIS rules and reporting timeframes
- Liaising with the client services team to identify documentation and process improvements to meet the NDIS Practice Standards.
- Providing internal and external stakeholder consultation to collate feedback and influence service delivery.
- Maintenance of internal SharePoint system as an effective source of information for staff.

About you
You are that exciting combination of autonomous, can work with others, roll up your sleeves and get things done, take a step back, analyse and think of the end outcome. This may be a step up for you or you’re wanting to move out of large corporate into a smaller business.
- Very strong attention to detail and discretion
- Ideally experience in this or similar human sector
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Prior experience in the Quality and safety space is desirable
- Ability to communicate at all levels of a business
- Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office 365 suite of products
